We’re kicking off our China debut in true EDC fashion, bringing our industry-leading production and inspiring creativity that has made the festival brand a worldwide phenomenon. As the third home for EDC in Asia, EDC China will transform the Shanghai International Music Park into a neon-lit playground, filled with Insomniac’s exquisite stage designs, whimsical theatrical performers, and famed laser and light displays across three fantastical stages.
Originally launched in 1997 in Los Angeles with a small crowd of dance music lovers, EDC has grown exponentially, hosting more than 1 million fans worldwide throughout its 22-year history. EDC China marks the festival’s sixth international destination and the latest global chapter in EDC history.
